Is your PTFE layer sufficient? The static friction of Telon® is just as high as the sliding friction, so the transition from standstill to movement happens without a jolt. Typical areas of application are running rollers, sliding tracks, cable pulls, telescopic guides, e.g. in gearboxes, gears and bearings made of any type of plastic. Existing non-stick coatings, for example on vine and branch shears, can also be refreshed. The active substance PTFE is known worldwide under the name "Telon®". This is a registered trademark of DuPont USA and may not be used without their permission.

Für welche Anwendungen eignet sich die Trockenschmierung?
Das Spray ist für gleitende Schichten und zur Verminderung von Haft- und Rollreibung vorgesehen. Typische Einsatzgebiete sind Laufrollen, Gleitbahnen, Seilzüge und Teleskopführungen sowie Getriebe, Zahnräder und Lager aus Kunststoffen.
Welches Problem löst eine Trockenschmierung gegenüber öl- oder fetthaltigen Schmierstoffen?
Die Behandlung erzeugt eine dauerhafte Gleitaktivität ohne Öl- oder Fettanteile. Auf der behandelten Oberfläche haften dadurch weder Schmutz noch Staub an, und es entsteht keine störende Schmierstoffschlämme.
Eignet sich die Beschichtung für einen ruckfreien Übergang vom Stillstand zur Bewegung?
PTFE-Partikel im Submikrobereich haften auch auf vermeintlich sehr glatten Oberflächen und verleihen dem Material Gleitaktivität. Haft- und Gleitreibung sind dabei gleich groß, sodass der Übergang vom Stillstand zur Bewegung ohne Ruck stattfinden kann.
Kann das Spray vorhandene Anti-Haft-Beschichtungen auffrischen?
Vorhandene Anti-Haft-Beschichtungen können mit dem Spray aufgefrischt werden. Als Beispiel nennt der Produkttext Reb- und Astscheren.
