It is excellent for wound treatment, nurturing new skin, protecting it and preventing scar formation. Saddle pressure and summer eczema: The common summer eczema in horses can be treated analogously to wound care. After the acute wound heals, applying BALLISTOL Animal keeps the skin soft and promotes hair growth. In favorable cases the pressure spot disappears the next day. Note: If the skin is already injured and wounds are visible, please contact your veterinarian. Itch relief: The valuable essential oils in BALLISTOL Animal together with premium skin‑care oils also provide relief from itching, such as skin irritations, insect bites or friction spots. BALLISTOL Animal has proven itself for over 60 years, is well tolerated, disinfects and is completely harmless if accidentally ingested by the animal (e.g., licking the coat).
